 ... the Grain is produced by the Fine Ale Club (it is brewed under contract by Oulton Ales of Lowestoft, Suffolk), a British Beer Appreciation Society. It was set up in 2001 and they now have a range of 100 bottled beers, two of which are produced exclusively for them. I have been in the process of writing this review for a while (since February actually) and have been surprised by the difficulties I have found in getting it done. I was fortunate to have been involved in a World First this year! Along with our own beer festival in February we also helped to bring about the first ever International Gluten Free Beer Festival ~ for the first time a selection of Gluten Free and low Gluten Beers were available in a Beer Festival setting allowing Coeliacs and their friends to go out and drink side by side for a change.
