... litre can in a booze shop in Essaouira but strangely enough it was more expensive than 2 of the smaller ones. Not only is the size a bit of a joke but the taste is incredibly poor. The body is watery and served ice cold to contrast the Moroccan heat, it's like licking the inside of a freezer. It's not only the beaches of Morocco's Atlantic Coast that deserve the red flag, their beer too deserves a bit of a warning sign. To be fair, you'll probably be considering yourself lucky to get a hold of a relatively expensive small bottle of Moroccan beer. Flag Speciale comes in either little cans or a 0.33l bottle with a small label on it.
