Advantages: Reasonable price, not too strong/weak
Disadvantages: None
First of all let me correct the information on this page Fosters is 4% ABV not 4.9%. I drink... a lot.... so I have a good idea what I am talking about. The beauty of Fosters is that it tastes great on tap, in cans or bottles. Most draft beers taste different to their canned or bottled counterparts but Fosters has made the perfect transaction. It also tastes great on tap almost anywhere you go unlike carling that can vary in taste from one pub to the next. Fosters seems to have taken off over the last few years and their ad campaigns are great. They seem to have achieve d great balance of many factors. The first being price it is not cheap but is priced almost bang in the middle of the market at between £1.75 and £2.10 a pint around Manchester. The same goes for cans with many off-licenses offering 8 for £6 deals. As for strength maybe a touch more I'm not too sure but it is a good beer if you are planning on drinking all day. Unlike Stella Artois and other 5%+ beers that take control too quickly and are expensive. The taste is smooth unlike many other beers which have a strong aftertaste or strong odour. It always seems to also generate a decent pint on tap unlike Carling. It is quite difficult to write about beer as a lot of things about it are hard to word. The best way i can put it is when you at work and are looking forward to getting home sitting in the warm evening and drinking a crisp, cool beer whilst relaxing. Well the beer that you are imagining is Fosters- Enjoy!!!!
