Advantages: A lovely taste and good for you

Disadvantages: Only three flavours available in full 1l size.

Frijj is one of the most famous milshake manufacturers around the world along with Nesquick they have dominated the milkshake market for some years with a variety of different milkshakes. Here is my review of Frijj milkshakes.

Back in 1993 when Frijj started there were only three flavours of milkshake they sold. they were the most common Banana, Chocolate and Strawberry. They predominantly sell in the United Kingdom and are made by Dairy Crest with the head office in Shropshire.

Now since their debut fourteen years ago in 1993 they have released several different flavours of milkshake including Toffee Caramel, Raspberry, Vanilla and Chocolate fudge brownie. All these are sold in 500ml bottles only unlike the main three of Strawberry, Banana and Chocolate which also have a 1 litre bottle.
You can pick up a 500ml bottle for around 99p from most shops and a 1l bottle will be around £1.50 or so.

There have also been many limited editions of Frijj milkshakes throught the 14 years that Frijj have been making milkshakes. these have included custard, caramel, mint-choc-chip, raspberry doughnut, Jaffa Cake and Banoffee Pie. An interesting choice there wouldnt you say?.

In the past there have been some major marketing campaigns with Frijj fronting the 2003 sponsorship of Big Brother. And also most recently the Simpson's police chief Clancy Wiggum campaign on bottles of the Chocolate Fudge Brownie flavour.

Now onto the taste of the milkshakes. the Banana, Strawberry and Chocolate varieties are among the nicest I have tried of the flavour. And the other flavours are very nice indeed but let me tell you about the Toffee Caramel flavour.

Well this is currently a limited edition having come out this year and is one of my favourite milkshakes I have ever tried, combining Toffee and Caramel to make a drink that's both refreshing but also delicious. And suprisingly low in fat at just 1% fat in the whole bottle which compared to most other milkshakes on the market is incredibly low. This will fill you up but not make you pile on the pounds.

If you love milkshakes but you havent tried Frijj Milkshakes yet then check them out next time you are in the supermarket because I'm sure that you will find them very nice indeed. And of course Milk is good for ou and there's only 1% fat in each bottle of this milkshake. So be on the look out for it.

Summary: A great drink
