Even when I was young I never liked drinking milk, I can handle it on my cereal but not on its own so from an earl age in order to get me to drink milk my mother would flavour it. She figured the downside of adding a sugary syrup was offset some what by the consumption of something that was good for young children.

These days I tend to drink milkshake still if I want a milk based drink and Frijj are a great brand to opt for. It is made from fresh milk so you do need to store it in the frdge however the screw top means that you can consume it over a couple of days once it has been opened.

There is a range of flavours, my favourite is the Strawberry one, followed by Banana, the only one I'm not keen on is the chocolate one which I only tried once and I found the taste rather unpleasant.

The milk shake is quite thick when you pour it from the bottle and it settles in the glass nicely. It is a good idea to give it a shake before opening the bottle. As far as taste goes it is nice and creamy with a strong smell of strawberries and a smooth even flavour.

I only really buy this as a treat so I'm not really aware of the price as it just goes in the trolley and then into the fridge.
