Yummy milkshake, delivers a smooth smooth delight (Frijj Milkshake)

Before discovering Frijj, for a nice thick, what I would call proper milkshake, you would have to go to the like of McDonalds, or blend your own with some ice cream added. Frijj is the convenient option though and it surprised me how delicious this is, both in the chocolate flavour (shown here) and the banana flavour.

The nutritional information reads as follows, remebering that a whole bottle is 500ml;

Carbohydrate 12.6g
Fat 1.2g
Calcium 135mg

So, not to bad on the health front. I normally share a bottle with my son, so 250ml is just the right amount not to feel too full up. Taste of the chocolate one is nice and creamy, just the right amount of cocoa powder (which is fat reduced), not too strong. Some milkshakes are a little rough and powdery to the palette, but the Frijj is just so so smoothy, it certainly slips down very easily. On the thickness front, this is not as hard to suck through a straw as McDonalds (which has some nasty ingredients in my opinion), but it is not just milk, it has a medium thickness to it. It is made up of 68% skimmed milk and 22% whole milk, with buttermilk powder which must do the thickening.

This is a really tasty milkshake, nice for an evening drink without worrying about the content.
