Advantages: Great taste, nice thickness and reasonably priced, good variety of flavours to choose from.

Disadvantages: Some flavours are too sickly, Quite filling, Not all flavours are overly healthy,

As far as milkshakes go, Frijj is perhaps the most recognisable of the bunch. Laden with the ever-so-familiar cow print packaging and curved bottle, Frijj comes in a variety of flavours and is reasonably priced. Often you can find these in special deals in supermarkets which means you can get more Frijj! They are also easily accessable to more people, as they are gluten free and suitable for vegetarians. However, all you poor lactose intolerance sufferers will not be able to drink this.

The flavours that are currently pernamently avaliable range from Chocolate, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, Strawberry and Banana.
Limited edition flavours are available from time to time, with many of these being endorsed with The Simpsons characters on the front. The most recent flavour to do this is the Cookie Dough flavour. This one I have found is rather pleasing, however it does get a little too sickly by the end, and makes me wish for my Chocolate Fudge Brownie [ah yes the old favourite] instead! Even though Frijj milkshakes have a very thick consistency, they are have a very smooth feel and texture as they are drunk. Frijj contain fresh cows milk, and you can really taste this freshness. The bottles can be stored in the fridge for a few days after being opened if you want to be able to savour it for a while.

In my opinion, the Chocolate Fudge Brownie flavour is by far the best of the current variety. It oozes with a satisfying chocolate flavour that is perfect as not only a drink, but also a desert all in one. It is extremely filling, and due to it's richness, can be enjoyed slowly, thus giving you a long amount of time to enjoy it's moorish flavour. A definite must-try for all you chocoholics out there.

The main criticism of Frijj milkshakes is that it due to the thickness and the sheer amount of flavouring inside of them, they can be a bit too sickly at times. They are also very filling, and although this may not be a neccessarily bad thing, it also means that at times you may feel yourself compensating real food for a milkshake instead. Also, some of the flavours, the chocolate ones in particular do contain quite a lot of fat, so for the health conscious person, these should probably be avoided, or used as an occasional treat.

However, overall I strongly reccomend that if you are craving a milkshake, you choose a flavour from the Frijj range. Richly flavoured, a great thickness, a reasonable price in most places [mainly around 90p each bottle], Frijj can be a great treat!

Summary: Great flavours and a satisfying treat, just don't overdo it!
