Frijj is a range of milkshake drinks. This range includes various flavours including strawberry, fudge brownie and banana.
A new addition to the Frijj range is Vanilla. This drink is low in fat (less than 1%), gluten free, contains no artificial colours or flavours and is suitable for vegetarians. This milkshake is a source of vitamin B12 and contains calcium.
The milkshake should be consumed chilled and shaken before opening. Once opened it should be consumed.within 3days.
Frijj Vanilla is presented in a chunky, round plastic bottle with a screw top lid. It has a simple white design with blue splodges and various bits of information about the milkshake. The bottle can be recycled but the sleeve cannot.

*My Thoughts*
I like milkshakes as an occasional treat but usually go for the McDonalds ones as they have ice cream in them! I bought a few bottles of Frijj from Tesco as they were on a buy one get one free offer. £1.20 for 1l of milkshake is reasonable I think though I wouldn't pay full price for 1 bottle. Anyway, I bought strawberry and vanilla but strawberry was promptly snapped up by my fiance who loves these milkshakes. So here it is..I was stuck with vanilla!
The bottle is really chunky and heavy but nicely designed. Each bottle has a sealed which needs pulled off before the lid can be removed and I find this to be a good feature as far as hygeine is concerned. Once shook up, the creamy white milkshake is creamy thick but not as thick as I personally like my milkshakes to be. I suppose it could be worse but it is drinkable.
I was actually put off this milkshake when I first opened it. Despite being freshly bought from Tesco and suitably chilled, it had an "off milk" sort of smell. Luckily the taste isn't off otherwise I would have been making a trip back to Tesco to inspect their dodgy fridges! The milkshake has a smooth texture which is surprisingly filling and substantial. It is very easy to gulp down though I can only take a gulp at a time due to the heavy sweetness of the milkshake.
I like vanilla flavoured food and drinks but this was the best vanilla flavouring I have tasted. It reminded me of cheap vanilla icecream (the yellow kind) when it had been left out and melted. Somewhat artificial and sickly. It just doesn't taste the way I would have expected it too and didn't fufill my milkshake needs. It tasted rather cheap and left a weird aftertaste It is very milky so I know I'm getting a decent amount of calcium but the sugar content is bad. One bottle is filling though.
Overall I was very disappointed with this drink as it isn't as appealing as the other flavours in the Frijj range. I cannot really recommend it unless you like cheap vanilla ice cream melted and popped in a bottle!
Thanks for reading x
Summary: not one I'd buy again!
