Those of you who have read my other reviews (if not...why not?!?) will know how much I rate Fuller's Beers. Some people find them to be too harsh, but I have never had any problems with them. London Pride is no exception to this rule! I'm really happy now that I've found a pub in Chesterfield that sells it as one of their regular choices of bitter. Tange is now to be found in the Royal Oak pub in Chesterfield's historic Shambles area. Tange will be looking at the old beamed ceiling; taking in the history...Tange will also be found clutching a pint of Fuller's London Pride! In honour of this discovery I thought it was about time that I ... Read the complete review

Despite the battering its institutions have taken over the last eighteen months, London remains an economic powerhouse of the developed world, with roughly seven million people commuting into work on a daily basis. Its museums, galleries and theatres display a dizzying array of home grown and imported talents and a thriving multi-cultural society goes about life and death in a {generally} productive manner. Yes, London has a lot to be proud of. Fuller's London Pride, however, is not one such thing! While I typically drink wine and love a good glass of red, I'm not averse to a decent imported lager or a real ale once in a while. Depending on the sort of folk ... Read the complete review

Fullers London Pride is a well balanced beer with plenty of character, yet is approachable enough for most palates, and not as knock-you-over strong as ESB: an important factor if playing darts in a Fullers house. [if you can bear to part with it, buy your opponent ESB while you drink the Pride: they'll wonder why they're losing, then realise that they don't really care!] It is not an exceptionally bitter bitter [e.g.Youngs ordinary] and goes down well at most times- for a hot summers day, I might prefer Chiswick Bitter if in a Fullers house, but Pride is often found guesting in other chains of pubs, where it makes a reassuring and welcome appearance. ... Only recently was i invited to a meal at a friends house and was offered a beer. The beer that stood out in its elegant wrapping was Fullers London Pride. The first thing i noticed was the 5% vol written on the bottle and so i presumed it would be less than satisfactory to enjoy with a meal. But i opend it and poured it into a glass, waited for the head to recide a bit and took a mouthful. I was greeted by a marvelous mix of flavours and swallowed. This satisfying swig had no dissagreement with me. The fizz was near perfect for a beer, not too fizzy like Lager but not flat either. The strength of the bitter was not in exchange for flavour. The price of the beer is about ... Read the complete review

London pride is a classic ale.Malt and hops abound here.Try it as a real ale though, not as a bottled,or canned beer-you will notice the difference. If you want to drink London pride at home, treat yourself to a polypin.THis is either an 18 pint,or 36 pint bag of live beer in a box.All you need to do after delivery,is put the box where it is going to stay, put tap in place, switch tap on to get rid of excess pressure and leave for about twenty four hours to settle.after you have left the beer twenty four hours, you then simply open the tap,(with a glass underneath!) and pour.Enjoy! The beer will last for about 2 weeks,if you dont drink it before! Barrels of ... Read the complete review
