Advantages: Good Honest Beer

Disadvantages: recycling the empty bottles

Fullers London Pride is a well balanced beer with plenty of character, yet is approachable enough for most palates, and not as knock-you-over strong as ESB: an important factor if playing darts in a Fullers house. [if you can bear to part with it, buy your opponent ESB while you drink the Pride: they'll wonder why they're losing, then realise that they don't really care!]
It is not an exceptionally bitter bitter [e.g.Youngs ordinary] and goes down well at most times- for a hot summers day, I might prefer Chiswick Bitter if in a Fullers house, but Pride is often found guesting in other chains of pubs, where it makes a reassuring and welcome appearance.
The bottled version is a more than passable variant, harking back to the older style of India Pale Ales; brewed to withstand the rigours of being transported to India, and is a good standby for the home.
