With an incredibly sweet tooth and a knack of drinking far too much liquid in a day at work I assumed this (priced £1.09 on offer) would be the ideal combination of both problems. After having tried the Mars Refuel drink (which is not the same price despite being 50p dearer when I bought it) and being unimpressed by the flavour I was hoping this would solve the problem of the Mars drink which just seemed to lack the true chocolate taste of the bars. Also feeling that the the bottle was being sold on the Galaxy Brand identity (Galaxy is actually run by the Mars company it would seem from the bottle), and the Galaxy brand is that of luxury, rich and real chocolate taste, ... On one of our many ventures to "the shop" my boyfriend and I decided to purchase milkshakes instead of our usual (Barrs glass bottle of something!). The milkshakes on display included the shops own brand milkshakes in a variety of flavours, Frijj milkshakes which I have never liked and the Galaxy Thick shake. I'll let you guess what one I purchased... Packaging Similar to that of a bar of Galaxy Chocolate, all chocolate coloured swirls with a big 'G' on the front and the words 'Galaxy Thick Shake'. The packaging makes it awfully tempting to buy especially if you are a chocoholic like myself. Taste This is just an ... Read the complete review

Never go shopping on an empty stomach, isn't that what they say? Otherwise you'll end up spending way more than you mean to on frivolous sweets and snacks just because your rumbling stomach demands them. This is what happened to me last night on a grocery shop in Tesco straight from work, and this is how a bottle of Galaxy Thick Shake ended up in my basket. In my defence, it WAS on offer for £1 (normally £1.50ish) and it DID tide me over til tea time! I'd never even heard of these shakes before I spotted them in the supermarket so I had no idea what to expect. They come in a 440ml white plastic bottle with a swirly, chocolaty Galaxy-type label featuring a ... Read the complete review

Galaxy chocolate is my absolute favorite chocolate, so when I saw the Galaxy Thick Shake in our local garage I had to buy a bottle and give it a try. At £1.49 per bottle it is not cheap. The bottle is 440ml and has a screw top lid, underwhich there is a foil covering for freshness. The bottle boasts 2.5% fat and 20% more chocolate. The label is the same pattern used on Galaxy chocolate bars and along with the big G on the front of the bottle there are 2 pieces of Galaxy chocolate shown. The bottle makes this drink look very inviting! Unfortunatly, as aluring as the bottle is, its contents is quite ordinary and disappointing. It is very thick and ... Read the complete review

My younger brother works in the corner shop near me and he often comes home after work with some sort of goodie to munch or drink, this time it was the Galaxy Milkshake. I'm not usually one for chocolate milkshakes but I love Galaxy chocolate it's so creamy and rich and makes a perfect luxury in moderation. I can still remember his words, 'Yes it's lush!' he said and 'It tastes JUST like Galaxy' so I went and blew oops I mean spent £1.20 on a bottle. The bottle looks just as dreamy and luxurious as the chocolate bar with elegant swirls of cream and brown decorating it and the word Galaxy smoothly swirled along the side. The bottle has a brown screw off cap and ... Read the complete review
