Goldenbrau

I am reviewing the Golden Brau beer which is part of Heineken based on the Goldenbrau in bottle of half litre I bought in Romania. I am not sure it is the same you find in UK,although I would assume so. I paid for mine 5 Ron, which is roughly one Pound in a resturant. The bottle was not too cold. Opening the beer I could not smell anything particular. I poured it in my glass and noted that it does not have a big head, I also like to try to reduce the head anyway, by pouring the beer slowly sliding it down the glass. It is not too fizzy either. Golden Brau is a relatively new beer from the Karlovacka brewery in Croatia. Since joining the Heineken group in about 2003, they've widened their series of products and one of the beers which can be currently found in Croatian shops is Golden Brau. It is said to be available in glass bottles and cans but I could only find it 1.5 litre plastic bottles and to be honest that's fine with me.
