... sweetness is one of the biggest understatements this year. This is a dark beer that pours a coca-cola type colour but it's not a Porter, it has no real caramel or coffee scent to it, nor does it feel roasted but what it does have is a very sickly flavour and one that I can't forgive it for despite it's pretty stylish looking bottle. Gotyckie is another one from the Grudziadz brewery in Poland, it's also another one that claims to be for "connoiseurs" - this seems to be the breweries excuse for making powerhouse beers. This one is another 9% dark beer and the description of subtle sweetness is one of the biggest understatements this year.
