Glens The Exciting Vodka (Grant's Vodka)
Member Name: katieh1
Advantages: Cheap And Tastes Good With Coke Disadvantages: They Dont Do Bigger Than 1Litre Bottles (lol) Distilled in Scotland in the United Kingdom from sugar beet Its produced by Glen Catrine Bonded Warehouse a company based in Ayrshire. The vodka was launched in the seventys and was originally known as Grants but as it increased in popularity another company called William Grant & Sons which produces Grants whisky appealed to the Scottish Courts due consumers thinking grants whisky made grants vodka too but wasnt the case and forcing the name to be changed Grants scottish vodka was relaunched as Glens (The Exciting Vokda) in 2003. Dont let the cheap price tag fool you! Tastes not too bad really but after the first glass all vodkas tend to taste the same lets not kid but i prefer glens to any other vodkas ive tasted and trust me theres a wide variety. Makes a good drink at the weekend if you put it in the freezer and then pour onto some chilled diet coke or cherry coke ! Summary: only about £8 for a 70cl and £11 for a litre not too bad i must say |
