Advantages: Cheapish, Hits the Spot
Disadvantages: Raw taste, Dries you're throat
It must be said not a lot of people like cheap vodka and I myself do not like it. But start it of with a mixer, I am a big fan of coke and vodka, but has to be an expensive coke, Pepsi and diet Cola work very well. Just before going out clubbing I was going to go around to a mates for some drinks a few films. So I stop of at my local supermarket the Co-Op where I used to work and still know some people so I can use their 10% discount card (keep it hush). But SHOCK HORROR they had run out of my normal Imperial Co-Op Vodka after a minute or five of panicking I decided upon actually trying another one, and I used to work here so trust me I know that I am not the only one whom sticks to the same brand all the time. Grant caught my eye because well I had never heard of it before so the 70cl bottle was shouting at to me, tall, clear and unknown whom could resist? So I picked it off the shelve headed towards the till with my passport of course because under age drinking is nothing to be taken lightly and I am more then proud to offer ID, (I would like to say hello to my sponsors the government) :D ok back to the serious review: It cost me £10.99 for a litre bottle working out to be £10.99 per litre, compared to my normal Imperial litre and half which works out to be £10.66 per litre, that is an extra 33p but I was not put of. I had to wait another 50 minutes of sitting on the bus till I got to my mates. Had a few beers first of all then got out the bottle my mate ran and instantly got 2 glasses and some Pepsi like the good man he is (Hi Tommy *waves*). Poured out 2 shots of vodka to glass of Pepsi, make sure the glass is not to big and you should just be able to taste the vodka for a good mix (what a tip). Had a few n
ot bad at all, then shameful the shot glasses come out, this is where I come into my own league with not being very good at downing large quantities. Started hitting them back a bottle later and couple of other things we were ready for clubbing. The taste of the vodka was very raw taste was not sweetened at all, those whom don’t like raw tasting drinks drink Smirnoff so I would have to advise this drink to them. Side Affects: Dries up the back of the throat. Headache. Bad looking people to look good. Zigzag walking. But these are not bad I advise everyone to try them out at least once. Ok this has been one of my more humorous reviews, good mood I suppose but id like to say that getting drunk beyond the fact that you can’t control yourself costs lives and more and more people are drinking younger and younger I would ask that you show some tolerance when drinking and know your limits. At 38% this can prove to be a deadly drink Take Care © David James Clark DavidJamesClark@hotmail.com (any question e-mail or msn)
