... There was a special offer on for some real ales where a pint was 2 quid and that seemed reasonable to me. I gave Greene King's Bonkers Conkers a go. It was one to raise an eyebrow of the Aussie barmen when I ordered it, think he thought I was hammered and coming up with bizarre names - so I had to point it out. To be honest the taste was nothing special, it had a kind of murky dishwater feel to it and a sour taste, an apple juice golden colour, it had a fruity or even floral smell to it and was slightly creamy....more

After a walk around Little Venice in London a few weeks ago, I was ready for a beer and the pub overlooking Camden Lock seemed a suitable drinking hole whilst the girls did some shopping.
