Advantages: Smoth, creamy, tasty - LOVELY!

Disadvantages: Expensive and fattening

First of all I want to say that yes I am a girlie, and yes I do enjoy a good pint of Guinness every now and again. I don`t think it is the kind of drink that is suited to an all-night drinking session, but for a few drinks, or to finish the night off, there isn`t much out there to beat a good pint of Guinness.

The biggest (infact the only problem) with Guinness is that it is a very filling drink - it`s like a three course meal in a glass. Very tasty, very smooth, but it just gets to your stomach and stays there.

Apart from this problem it is a drink that is very rightly famous the world over. It is dark and creamy, and the head lasts literally forever - if you get a decent pint there will still be half the head left at the bottom of the glass when you`ve finished drinking. The taste is out of this world to boot - not too strong, nottoo weak but just right :-) Basically Guinness has got everything right, so go out and get yoursef a pint now!

Actually I told you a lie up above - I said that Guinness only has one problem. It does have another smal problem, and that is the cost of the drink. While it is very tasty it is also very expensive - probably one of the most expensive pints at the bar, which is a real shame if you ask me :-(

And lets not forget for all those girlies out there, that this is chock full of calories - do you want a beer belly?
