... low carbonation and a refreshing taste, not fruity, not bitter, just right! Having been bought by Carslberg, they are often criticised by true Polish beer lovers for selling out like Tyskie, Zywiec, Lech and so on but that's the way the world works these days, one big company! All in all I recommend Harnas. I'm not sure what the availability is like in the UK, it can be ordered online at alibaba and I'm sure it must be available at some of the Polish pubs and shops....more

I'm finishing a bottle of Harnas, right now as I type and although I had my opinions on the canned version, I thought that I'd review it after drinking a bottled one too. The Harnas adverts always represent hard working farmers in the mountains in the olden times who need to refresh themselves with a Harnas, they're also keen to point out that Harnas is as fresh as mountain rivers! With a blue design, this emphasises the case further. So now on to the beer.. at 6%, it should feel strong but it seems rather light..must be that mountain water!
