Harveys Bristol Cream Sherry ... s Bristol Cream is not something that I would normally think of buying but my mother in law got me some for Christmas along with a couple of sherry glasses so that we could have a little tipple when we are cooking for the menfolk . I think this sort of sums it up, it is a little bit old fashioned, meant to be drunk as a little tipple and all in all a very civilised kind of drink. Dutifully, I poured us both a glass while I was cooking lunch on Boxing Day and was surprised at just how lovely it was. Harveys Bristol Cream Sherry ... s Bristol Cream Sherry has been around for as long as I can remember. When I was a child, it was always brought out of the drinks cabinet for special occasions and offered to visiting lady guests. I grew up thinking it was very posh. Many other drinks are available nowadays and I don t see sherry in many people s houses but it is a nice drink and makes a change from heavy spirits and lager. I find that a bottle lasts for ages, though, because I forget about it until Christmas time. Harvey s Bristol Cream Sherry is 17.5% vol it is an alcoholic drink for adults aged 18 year and over. My memories of this are from my great uncle who always poured a small tipple during the Christmas season when we visited.
