Hazar Baba Turkish Apple Tea comes in 250g boxes and can be found online and in some health food shops, as well as specialist international retailers. I have seen it quite often and never opted to buy it, I didn't really understand the attraction, I would much rather have a cup of Tetleys? Until I went on holiday to Turkey earlier this year. They give you glasses of it in take aways and taxi ranks while you wait as a small gratuity for choosing to use their services. Turkish Apple Tea is an excellent alternative to black tea, or coffee, and it contains no caffeine. Although it is called tea, it does not contain any form of tea at all and is really a kind of fruit cordial made from granulated fruit and sugar. Hazer Baba is well known for fruit teas and makes several others including black cherry, pomegranate, orange and lemon. This product comes in an attractive green and red box with apples on the front. It is tall but quite slim and the actual packaging material is strong which means that you can keep the tea in its box and you don't have to put it into a jar. Hazer Baba Turkish apple tea isn't really a tea at all, it is in fact an instant granulated apple flavoured drink which is commonly drunk in Turkey. I first became aware of this product when I was searching through some of the teas sold by a favourite Ethical online retailer called Goodness Direct. I was impressed by some customer reviews of the product which were positive.
