This beer is far darker than Kozlak yet it's alcohol content is a mere 5.4%, it contains 12.1% extract which allows it to retain the smoothness of Guiness but without the wateriness towards the end.
It is a cheap and cheerful drk beer full of rich flavour neither too bitter nor too sweet and without any caramel or chocolate taste, basically a roasted malty flavour which goes down very easily. When poured...more |

The brewery Juranda from Olsztyn is probably my favourite brewery at the current moment. In a past review, I raved about the beer "Kozlak" and I'm now going to do so for Heban, an even darker alternative brewed by the same company.
