To underline its sea-laced flavours, Oban's Master Distiller has chosen Montilla Fino. This dry,delicate cask-wood beautifully enhances Oban's distinctively graceful style.

Cask-wood Finish: Montilla Fino The light, dry fragrance of Montilla Fino from Andalusia made its cask-wood a natural complement to the warm fullness of Oban's rich flavours.

Tasting Notes: Oban's West Highland origins speak loudly in an outstanding fruity and pungent sea-breeze of a nose. Sweeter than usual on the palate, rich fruit flavours are nonetheless complemented by a typical briny character. The finish is long with the influence of Montilla Fino cask-wood. A whisky of the very highest order.
