Advantages: Contains no harmful GM ingrediants

Disadvantages: Doesn't seem to be very popular

I have used Hipp Organic formula for both of my babies. I used it alongside breastfeeding with my first baby and have used it alone for my second. My first baby was hardly ever sick apart from the one time when my mother-in-law gave her SMA Gold at which point she was violently sick everywhere. She didn't sleep until the night until she was 18 months old and I did wonder later on if using one of the more popular brands of formula might have made a difference.

I have also used Hipp organic with my new baby who has been sleeping through the night since 1 month old without any problems. So I've concluded that it has nothing to do with the formula but the fact that my new baby is much chunkier than her sister, who was very small.

I went for organic milk as I felt that it was the best that I could give my baby as I wasn't able to breastfeed esclusively both times. It contains no GM ingrediants and contains all the nutrients that a growing baby needs in its first year of life. My baby is putting on around 8oz a week so is clearly doing very well on Hipp organic!

I was slightly put off, like the first reviewer, by the fact that nobody else seemed to use this brand, but I believe that this is just because the other brands have been around for longer and are advertised far more. I have gone with my gut instinct and believe that this milk is great for any baby. It's also a lot cheaper than other brands at the moment. I usually get it for around £4.50 from Tesco, compared to around £7 for the more popular brands.

Summary: The best milk you can give your baby if not breastfeeding
