Advantages: Plastic bottle can be carried around in places where it's illegal to drink in public

Disadvantages: Crap taste

Hubal Super Strong is probably the drink most unlikely to appeal from Grudziadz's Brewery in Poland, whilst some of the others go out of their way to look quite classy.. Hubal most certainly does not, unlike neighbouring countries like Lithuania and Ukraine where beer in plastic bottles is a common thing, it's quite a rarity in Poland and a valuable asset to any drunk in a country where it is illegal to drink out on the street, the cap allows it to be opened and closed unlike glass bottles or cans.

Hubal is a strong dark beer of 8.4% alochol with a strong flavour (16%+ extract), it's almost black in colour and pours with very little head, there's a strong taste of alcohol and a skunky taste of hops, malt. I find it makes your throat sore and generally leaves your mouth feeling like it has been nuclear bombed. This is pretty nasty stuff and definitely the worst beer the brand has to offer, catering to alkies and robust old men. Probably the least attractive beer Poland has to offer (unless you include some of the non alcoholic juicy beer crap)

Summary: The Winner of the Worst Beer in Poland Award 2008 by Dangaroo, dooyoo!

Nice shaped bottle, a bit like the Efes bottles

Short, sweet, but tells me what I need to know (i.e. avoid this one like the plague).

Here - wine to avoid: http://www.bumwine.com/

Cheers!
