Advantages: GREAT WAY TO GET YOUR FRUIT INTAKE
Disadvantages: CAN BE EXPENSIVE
Innocent Smoothie
Hi I am certain most people have tasted smoothies. If you haven't there are several types on the market in which some contain sugar. They are usually blended fruits (or vegetables) mixed up to a creamy constancy and they help replace eating five fruits or vegetables a day.
Smoothies are excellent for people with busy lifestyles and are a healthy way to get those all important nutrients into your body.
The Innocent Smoothie is by far the best I have tried. I have sampled nearly all of supermarket own brands, but always return to Innocent. This smoothie has no additives or preservatives at all making it really good for you.
You can buy them in most leading supermarkets and they cost around £2.99 per litre. This little bottle cost around £1.25 so well worth buying the litre. Look out for offers on them as you can often get 2 for £4. The cranberry and raspberry has a great flavour and is a good way to take cranberries as they can be a little sour, but this drink is nice and melow in flavour.
If you like banana they do a beautiful banana and coconut.
Varieties I am sure about and have tried I have listed below and rated (in my opinion from 1-10)
Cranberries and Rasberry 10
Banana and coconut 10
Strawberry and Banana 8
Cranberry and Blueberry 7
Kiwi 7
Mango and Passion Fruit 7
Breakfast Deter 6 (bit acidic)
There may be more varieties out there but all I can say is try them, especially if like me you don't seem to get the time to eat fruit.
I hope this is useful to you.
Summary: GREAT SMOOTHIE NO ADDITIVES WHATSOEVER!!!!
