Advantages: Healthy, ethically made and tasty!

The product I wish to review is the Innocent Lemon, Honey and Ginger smoothie. This product is marketed as 'a smoothie for winter' and has a very cute hand-drawn illustration of a snowman and a robin on the 1 litre carton. Another side of the carton outlines the promises made by Innocent including using the best fruit, being healthy, sourcing ethically, being sustainable and sharing the profits all of which make me more inclined to buy Innocent products than other smoothies as I know that this brand is good quality, ethical and supports local produce wherever possible. Another advantage of this product is that they tell you exactly what is in the smoothie: apples, bananas, lemons, oranges, honey and ginger and that's it! No preservatives or additives so a really healthy choice. This smoothie can also be gently heated to make a warming winter drink. The smoothie itself is really soothing on the throat and very refreshing without making you feel cold. There is quite a lot of pulpy bits in the smoothie but anyone who has had an Innocent smoothie before will be used to it. The consistency of it makes it filling enough to have as a healthy snack between meals. You can really taste the lemon and honey and the ginger is not too overpowering or hot. It also smells really and it looks more like soup than a drink!
