Advantages: Uniformly delicious

Disadvantages: Overpriced

I know Innocent have recently sold their corporate soul to Coca-Cola, but that's not important. Only two things matter when it comes to drinks - how it tastes and what is costs. Let's deal with those two things in order.

Firstly, taste. Obviously this depends on which flavours you go for, but I have never tried one of their smoothies that I didn't like and, crucially, they all taste of the fruits from which they are made. The classic banana and strawberry is a great standard choice, but try their more off-the-wall choices and you won't be disappointed. The Seasonal Specials are always particularly nice - I seem to remember a raspberry and tangarine one a few summers ago that was absolutely delicious.

Now on to cost. It's true that in many cases you get what you pay for, but I'm afraid a little bottle of smoothie for between £1.50-£2.50 is sinly too much. They're good, but not that good. With that in mind, I try to stock up when the family-sized cartons are on offer (2 for £4, for instance) because, when they're affordable,
Innocent drinks are pretty fantastic.

Summary: Go for it, but only when they're on offer!
