I first came across Jagermeister on a night out a couple of years ago . I'd seen the distinctive dark green bottle, with it's curved shoulders and it's deer head logo around, but never been inspired to try it - the bottle always struck me as ugly and very chunky, and I think this perhaps put me off trying it . What can I say, I'm a girl, I like pretty things. So, I'm in the pub with my friends, when one of them goes off to the bar to buy a round. Instead of asking what we all want, he opts for one of the special offers at the bar - shots of Jagermeister. Well, on first appearances, this drink is pretty dark in colour, a rich reddish brown, and ... Read the complete review

Jagermeister, possibly my favourite alcoholic drink of all time, is a German found herbal and spice liquor. It is 35% being 70-proof making it just a little under vodka in strength. The bottle is a stumpy shaped dark green glass bottle in a similar shape to an arch. The front has a label with Jagermeister written in an old font with a deer above for its logo. Originally the drink was used as a medicine to help cure different problems such as coughs, colds or digestive issues. However it is not anymore due to it not actually being proven to work. The smell once the bottle is opened hits you however as a cough medicine aniseed scent. It ... Read the complete review

Jagermeister is a liqueur made from 56 different herbs, fruits and barks, from ginger roots to saffron. Mixed to perfection, with distilled rum and an unknown secret ingredient in it's distillery in Wolfenbuttel, Germany. Curt Mast first developed this herb liqueur in 1934, safeguarding it's unique recipe until in the following year, 1935 the brand of Jagermeister was launched to the public in it's homeland of Germany. The brand continued to be a familiar household name in Germany, often contributing to the German Football League as advertisers. It wasn't until 1964 that Jagermeister started to be exported to different countries, The Netherlands ... Read the complete review

Jagermeister is a liquer made with herbs and spices, it is a German drink as the name kind of gives away and it has a very strong taste that comes from it and is used normally as a dark brown shot or as a part of a 'jager bomb' which consists of a shot of Jagermeister and a serving of Red Bull energy drink. This drink has became very popular in bars lately and also has become highly promoted in the teenage scene and clubs, Jagermeister promotion girls and guys have lately been in most clubs alot of the times I have been out promoting the shot and giving out merchandise like flashing lights and hula necklaces for buying it. The alcohol volume of ... Read the complete review

Jagermeister is a German "herbal liquer" first introduced in the 30's. With a semi-sweet taste, it has been described as tasting like cough medicine. When it was originally marketed, it was used as a medicinal product, to cure the common cold, coughing and digestive problems. It was also used in World War II as a anesthetic. The Jagermeister bottle is dark green, and its label stands out, with its bright orange background to the name. The logo, which shows the head of a stag with a cross between its antlers, is a reference to Saint Hubertus and Saint Eustace. I've worked in a club for 4 years, and its one of the most ...
