Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila

I and my friends will find any excuse to get around the table and pass the shot glass containing an amber-coloured liquid that is claiming to be tequila. We would be passing around beers on ordinary days but on special occasions (or no occasions at all) we would like to be kicked hard and drink tequila. You have to experience the Filipino drinking session to know how crazy it is. We would spend the whole day for it. Oh tequila it makes me happy, tequila make me feel fine!!! Tequila when the doors are open, tequila when theyre calling time! Anyone remember that? As far as tequila goes this is my favourite. I know its around double the price of most other tequilas but it is worth it. Best place to get it - wait til its on offer in Tescos or any other supermarket. It is way more expensive in Spain or any other country with the euro as its currency at the min due to the exchange rate so i wouldnt wait til you go on your hols. Everyone knows about Tequila, and over here Jose Cuervo must be the biggest selling brand of gold there is. Whether this is a good thing or not is left up to the individual, however for me, it is no longer as appealing as it used to be. You see, I've been spoiled, I've tried proper Mexican Tequila made with 100% cactus, compared to the stuff over here which only has a fraction of this in it. Jose Cuervo Gold (a.k.a Jose Cuervo Especial) tequila is a reposado tequila, meaning it has been aged in oak casks for between two months and a year. This is possibly one of my favourite tequilas, and the best commercial tequila I've tasted. Tequila itself can have an odd, sometimes unpleasant smell, and a taste that definitely gets used to. I find the smell of this tequila almost pleased, and it certainly has a superior taste. Tequila, tequila, tequila. I used to love her, but i had tequila. Tequila.....'to kill her' ? No? sorry, bad joke. But thats kind of the tequila effect. This may just be the best party drink ever, and is a strong contender for the best shooter of all time. Speaking from experience, I feel that Jose Cuervo Gold is one of the best Tequilas readily available in the UK. Powerful taste, strong flavour, and it gets you cutting loose like nothing else.
