~ ~ As many of you may be aware, the ‘mad cabbie’ is a recovered alcoholic, (over 23 years now since my last drink) so you’re not liable to catch me writing too many opinions in the “booze” Category here at dooyoo, as any knowledge I might have of the product would be somewhat out of date. But there are now a number of ‘non-alcoholic’ or low-alcohol beers on the market, such as Clausthaler, Becks, and the one I’m going to talk about here, Kaliber, from the renowned Irish brewers Guinness. ~ ~ Lets start off by making something perfectly clear from the start. Okay, so the bottles look cool. They look as if you're drinking a premium beer. Except, obviously, you're not, actually. You're drinking something that LOOKS like beer. Pour it into a glass. There. That looks like ... Read the complete review

I am stressed, I'm planning a wedding, was made redundant recently and the weather was hot today. I have also recently started a new job (today in fact). When the weather gets hot I crave lager! When football is on I crave lager! When I went shopping this evening I bought 4 cans of Kaliber and some mixed fruit + salad. Kaliber alcohol-free lager for me is an excellent alternative to lager. I love the lager taste but lager itself gives me major hangovers for some reason my stomach can't even cope with one pint. I know that it doesn't taste exactly like lager but the more you drink it the nicer it becomes. The ... Read the complete review
