Advantages: Quick, convenient, good value, tastes good, pocket sized.
Disadvantages: Maybe too sweet for some.
We started buying Kenco 3 in 1, and 2 in 1, Fusion Coffee drinks last year really for convenience. With builders and workmen around on and off for months on end the kettle was constantly brewing up. Add to this our limited space, in our temporary accommodation, the dreaded caravan, and you can see why these drinks were a good option.
Kenco 3 or 2 in 1 sachets are long and slender and fit easily into a handbag or pocket for convenience. They are purchased in a box which varies in price depending on the amount of sachets. 99p for a box of ten coffee sachets is pretty good value. I sometimes pick a couple of boxes up when they are priced this low, usually from Netto or Asda. Occasionally they can be purchased as a BOGOF, buy one get one free, offer.
Still price and convenience isn't everything is it, so what of the taste?.
Well as I am not a big drinker of coffee I am no expert. However I do like the coffee drink that these sachets make. Although I do not take sugar in tea I like a little in coffee and find that the 3 in 1 is just right for me. I find the 2 in 1 is a little bitter. However one of our workmen was a diabetic and so the 2 in 1 fitted the bill for him. Whether or not he should actually have been drinking these though who knows, but he did like them.
Every person that I have ever made a drink of coffee for using the 3 in 1 Kenco coffee has loved it. In fact they have actually commented how nice the drink was or is.
To make a drink simply empty the contents of a sachet into a cup or mug and add hot but not boiling water. A quick stir and your drink is ready to enjoy. It smells as good as it tastes and I do not think you will be disappointed, unless you are a coffee connoisseur.
This Kenco coffee drink is available in many workplace vending machines but at a much higher price. A drink that you have made yourself will average at around 10p which is pretty good these days. They are perfect for taking with you to work or on a weekend break or the like.
Although the sachet is only slender there is ample for a large cup or average sized mug without the drink tasting watered down. I guess you could add extra milk and, or, sugar if required but I never need to. The drink has just the right amount of milky flavour.
Overall.
A good value, practical drink which has a nice flavour and goes down well with your mid morning biccies.
Thanks for reading
