Advantages: Smooth, creamy, frothy coffee. Easy to mix and no lumps!

Disadvantages: If you like your coffee strong, this isn't for you

I am normally a Nescafe Cappucino kind of a girl, but recently got turned off them by having a packet that just refused to blend, and if there's one thing I cant stand its having the feeling of bits in my mouth when its supposed to be a drink! (i have the same problem with orange juice with juicy bits!) Anyway, I like an instant cappucino in a morning, I like to make it, have my shower and have it ready to drink before I leave for work. (i know I could have ordinary coffee...but I deserve better...I am after all going to work!!!) Anyway after the last Nescafe experience I decided to switch brands and opted for the Kenco Cappio. It cost £1.87 for 8 sachets and is 84 cals per sachet. Included in the box is a sachet of Suchard chocolate topping. I boiled the kettle in a fever of excitement (this maybe a slight exaggeration) emptied the sachet into my favourite mug and added the water, a little bit first to mix into a paste, then the rest, stirring all the time to avoid lumpage! The powder mixed together really well and frothed up nicely. I went to have my shower and then began to drink my coffee. One thing I noticed straight away was that there was still the same amount in my cup as when I went upstairs, other brands tend to decrease as the bubbles pop. The coffee smell had permeated the kitchen and was tantalising my taste buds (or my caffeine addiction). I don't add the chocolate topping by the way.
I took a good slug of the coffee and found it really smooth and creamy. It isn't the strongest tasting coffee I have ever had, but was really pleasant. The froth was really creamy and lasted right until the end of the drink. Most importantly, the contents had mixed together really well and I was able to drink the whole lot! If it's a hard core caffeine kick you need, this may not be for you, but if you want a smooth, creamy, non-lumpy pleasant cup of coffee, this could be the one for you!

Summary: A nice, smooth, enjoyable cup of instant cappucino
