Now a weakness of mine is a cup of coffee generally at home I have a cafetiere of ground coffee the majority of the time. But this isn't always practical to do for work so I have tried various instant coffees over the years to try to find one that gives you a good full bodied aroma taste and smell. Kenco the company- It pride's its self ensuring that we continually source the highest quality beans to make our coffee blends whether these are instant or ground coffee and since 2004 they have sourced 100% of the coffee in Kenco Sustainable Development from Rainforest Alliance CertifiedTM farms. But now they have taken the bold step to source at least 75% of all ... Read the complete review

Anyone who knows me will know that I love my coffee - I confess to drinking far too much of the stuff, and always have done, but over the years I have regulated my caffeine intake a little, and have decaf in the evenings so that I don't get the midnight shakes anymore! I do drink a lot of coffee though, over a dozen mugs of it a day, so over the years I have looked for decent coffee that doesn't cost a fortune. I love fresh coffee but the faff of cleaning out a cafetiere means that I still opt for instant as being quick, clean and easy........ Over the last few years, coffee consumption has become far more fashionable, with chains of coffee houses ... Read the complete review

I have to confess that my all time favourite hot drink has to be piping hot freshly brewed ground coffee. The aroma infuses the air, and the expectations from those first few sips are for a warming, welcoming and vibrant experience. However, like many I simply do not have the time, inclination or the means to always indulge myself. For other occasions it has to be 'instant'. Now I say instant advisedly, since there is a wealth of difference between freeze dried coffee and the dry powder sort........ Freeze Dried or Not? The Kenco Rich Roast blend I am reviewing is freeze dried soluble coffee. This means that after the coffee beans have been ... Read the complete review

~ ~ Those of you who have been around dooyoo for a while will know that the ‘mad cabbie’ has two major addictions these days. The bad one is the old nicotine (my beloved rollups) and the second is coffee; lots of it, and taken VERY strong and sweet. Short of hopping on a plane and flying out to my favourite Continental location, Italy, where they make the best cup of coffee in the whole world, I make do a lot of the time with an Italian ground coffee called ‘LavAzza’, which combined with my magical little Russell Hobbs Classic coffee maker makes a cuppa that is nearly (if not quite) as good as the real Italian original. ~ ~ But ... I am a self confessed 'coffee nut' - or should it be 'coffee bean'? Anyway you like it, I will drink coffee - morning, noon and night - and as I write this I have a cup at my side (it's actually one I made earlier!) Those of us who love our coffee will tell you 'theres nothing like the REAL Thing' and the closest - in my opinion - you can come to the 'REAL' thing in - an instant - is KENCO REALLY RICH. I can remember those TV Ads with the Kenco coffee rep touring the South American bean farms, "But here try this" as she hands him a cup of Kenco instant. "it's the REAL thing". OK, I know that catch ... Read the complete review
