On one of my occasional visits to KFC i noticed this new Krush'ems drink/desert available for £1.79 cash or just 99p to add it to your meal in exchange for your regular drink.
This drink comes in a clear plastic cup with the Krush'ems name across the front, the snap on cone shape lid has a whole in it for the super size fat straw you get with it,
This is a bit of a mystery really as apart from the 4 available flavours listed it does'nt really say much about the ingredients so i will be guessing about about this, it's a milk based drink with ice-cream and ice, then you get bits of either Strawberry shortcake, caramel crunch, malteasers or Oreo biscuits depending on which flavour you choose.
The ingredients, cup size and nutritional information is proving rather difficult to find so i will keep looking or ask for this information on my next visit to KFC, i will update my review when i have more info.
I have tried 2 of the 4 available flavours, the first was the Strawberry shortcake, the drink was a lot thinner then i expected, it was like watery milk with a strawberry flavour with bits of shortbread in it, the liquid was far to watery and i did not really enjoy it, it wasn't until my next visit that i noticed they done a Krushem in my fave flavour of caramel, so i had to give this a try to see if it was any better, unfortunately it was the same thin watery liquid with not much taste and a few tasteless crunchy bits.
These drinks look and sound delicious and i wanted them to taste as good as they look but unfortunately they don't come anywhere near the mark, when I had the first one I felt like it was meant to be a lot thicker but had melted or not been made properly, after the second one was the same i now know this is how it is supposed to be and i don't like them!
Summary: Not for me
