Advantages: lovely refeshing drink

Disadvantages: none

I brought some of this kia-ora mixed squash as a change from our usual brand.

I remember having the orange kia-ora squash as a child and we tried that a few months ago and was very dissapointed as it no longer tastes as it did.

I was more surprised that the mixed fruit squash actually tatses great and that it contains real fruit.

The recomended amount is 4 parts water to 1 part squash but as I like my juice stronge I add and extra glug of squash to my glass.
The colour is a berry red in the bottle but when mixed more of a pinky/red.

On tasting, I found the drink was very refeshing and could taste mainly apple with a what I though was blackcurrent, however as blackcurrent is not listed in ingredients I assume it must have been redcurrent that I tasted. I could taste the cherry however was unable to pick out the strawberry flavour.

I imagine that it would be nice hot in winter or if you have a cold.

As I am not a fan of strawberry squashes that really was not a problem.

I brought this bottle of kia-ora for 49p in my local savers shop, however I am aware most supermarkets sell it for around 99p.

The squash comes in a plastic bottle which is clear in colour and has the logo on and a picture of the crow that was used in many of the adverts promoting the squash on television.
The bottle is also recycleable.

A 250ml diluted serving contains...
Calories - 5kcal
Sugars - 0.7g
salt - 0.1g
and no sugars or fats.

It is recomended to use the bottle within 4 weeks of opening and that when giving to toddlers to add extra water to squash.

Summary: better than the orange!!!
