Advantages: Nice at first

Disadvantages: A little nasty after a few

I'd heard alot about this lager over time, obviusly i knew it was an Indian lager that is sold in alot of indian restaurants. Now im a big fan of curries and i imagined this being an excellent beer which is smooth, refreshing, easy to drink and can tame the burning of even the hottest of hot curries. Well i bought a fair few, being told that they were nice and being an imported eastern lager i had to get a few. Plus the fact that it was only £1.98 for 4 bottles in Asda along with Budweiser Budvar so i had to get a few of each, i couldn't refuse :D. Im a fan of Tiger which is another eastern lager that i love. So i was looking forward to having a sample of what India's bestselling lager and India's best selling import beer had to offer!

Well at first, oh pure easy to drink, refreshing and lovely, but after a few, hang on this isn't what i remember. Its one of those that gets abit annoying after a few and a bit teadious. At first i thought it had the distinct taste of the likes of Grolsch but with a nicer taste and after taste. Yeah it was great at first but like i say after a few it got worse and worse, not to the point that i would say this is a bad lager, oh no its very nice and qutie different. If yu like the likes of Grolsch and the likes then get some i recommend you try it you really can't fall off.

Its 4.8% i think, yeah i think thats it, its the best selling lager in India and its India's best selling lager outside of India. I mean when i had some they weren't exceptionally cold, they were just slightly chilled, so i can safely say it would have been a more enjoyable experience if they were colder. Still i can say that like Grolsch for me it does get a bit nasty after a small period of drinking the lager.

If you can drink Grolsch with ease and its a top notch lager for you then try this, its for me a nicer version of Grolsch, a much easier to drink, smoother, milder and generally better.

De
finately try it, try it by itself, try it with a curry and enjoy it. I need to try this with a curry as i find any lager nice with a curry.

Haven't tried this, still looking for that Red Stripe you recommended to me, ooh, a couple of years ago now. Might have a try if ASDA still has some. Nice op, mate.
