Advantages: Healthy

Disadvantages: Pretty poor tastewise and miles behind the majority of Polish beers

Piwo Zdrojowe pasteryzowane is the slightly more desirable beer from the Konstancin brewery's Dawne range. As far as Polish beer goes, is fairly terrible and is mostly aimed at the organic crew rather than a typical beer drinker.

The pasteurised version seems to lose some of the astringent flavour that the unpasteurised type had, there's also nearly 3% less alcohol in it as it becomes a "jasne lekkie" beer - basically lightweight!

The flavourless and relatively weak type of beer, is relatively easy to get down you which makes a nice change from the extremely bitter non-pasteurised version.

I wouldn't really describe it as a pleasurable taste though as it loses its carbonation quickly and is therefore relatively bland and flat. Ingredient wise, you'd think that this would have quite a caramely flavour as caramel appears in 4 forms but you can't really pick up on these sweet notes to be honest. Design wise, it comes in a fairly tubby 0.5 litre bottle and has an unremarkable boring silver label with the word Zdrojowe dominating it. This may be healthy beer but with it's lack of nasty chemicals but tastewise it is definitely not going to win any awards

Summary: A small brewery focussing on organic beers - poor in taste though
