Kopparberg is a fantastic Sweedish cider. It takes its name from the water used in the production of it. The company use only soft water sourced from the local sweedish town of Kapperberg. Currently it is available in five flavours, pear, apple, elderflower and lime, mixed fruits and a non alcohol version. Most of their drinks are 4.5% vol and follow a traditional recipe that originates from 1930. They are served in a glass bottle with a bottle cap.

Each bottle contains about one pint, however it is usually slightly more expensive than other ciders such as Magners and Bulmers. For example, Wetherspoons charge around £3 per bottle. The drink is sparkling but very refreshing. It is very sweet in taste and so ideal for anyone who finds traditional cider too dry. It is recommended to be served over ice. I would personally recommend either pear or the mixed fruits cider as these are very thirst quenching.
