Kotayk is a type of Armenian beer, during my visit to Armenia it didn't seem entirely visible commercially but I managed to get two bottles on the way back home one late afternoon from a small shop which sold a bit of pretty much everything. I wanted to give it a go, to complete my Armenian beer tasting session. The two types that I chose was the "Lager" and "Dark", both of which were pretty reasonable but still some way off being exceptional. First I'll start with the lager!
