Premium Review Kronenbourg Blanc: Best Beer for Boiling Hot Britons? (276 words)

I wandered into a bar about 2 years ago with a mate and ordered a main-brand lager. The bar worker told us that the Kronenburg Blanc they had on draught was being discontinued due to lack of sales and they were selling if off at 50p per pint. It looked a little different, and I enjoy wheat/white beers, so we gave it a go. Around 4 pints later I was still amazed at the taste and quality of this beer and have been trying to coerce friends and family to buy this ever since! The other Dooyoo review for this beer is very detailed and comprehensive in terms of the history of the brewery and the nature of the beer, so I'll restrict my review to more aesthetic matters ...  Read the complete review

Kronenboug Blank is a French imported wheat beer with a pale and cloudy appearance, and is available both on tap in bars and resteraunts and at most UK supermarkets. It has a crisp and fruity taste that will appeal to fans of Hoegarden and Staropramen, and is quite light, making it an excellent summer drink that goes well with salads and fish dishes. At around £2.90 a pint in most bars and resteraunts its pretty expensive, but its sweetness means that more than a couple of pints can bring on a sickly feeling anyway and its lightness and refreshing taste make it an ideal drink to start with before switching to a cheaper and less sweet regular lager. 330ml ...  Read the complete review

I first discovered this drink on a night out when it had just come on to the market. Someone I know decided to order a pint, had one sip and gave it to me as he didn't like it. Well I loved it. It was refreshing, fruity and, best of all, different. It's one drink I always make sure I have a few bottle of in the fridge. But now my boyfriend has tried it and fallen in love with it too, so I think that I'll have to start hiding it! Anyway Kronenbourg Blanc is a refreshing, fruity, white beer imported from France. This 5% ABV premium draught and bottled white beer has been created by those master brewers at Brasseries Kronenbourg, ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Blanc by name but not by nature (248 words)

I am a bit of a lager drinker, but I don't normally like trying new drinks. I've tried dark beers, light beers and fruit beers in the past and not really felt too overly keen on them. But this drink has to be an exception to the rule. I first tried it a number of years ago when it was the newest drink in one of our favourite bars. It wasn't too expensive so it was nice to try a new novelty draught drink. I think a few of us all had it at the same time and we all fell in love with it pretty much straight away!! The taste was like no other lager, it was fruity, soft, tangy and just swept down our throats so easily that we were quickly onto our second try ...  Read the complete review
