Lanson Black Label is not the most well known Champagne but it is well on the way to being THE major champagne house. Yes Yes Krug, Veuve Cliquot they are all very good.The problem is they are also very pricey. Like alot of the Champagne houses; Lanson has produced a reasonably priced bubbly and Lansons is by far the best and tastes great.
This particular Champagne is for when you need to watch you budget but still want "The Real Thing".
Being priced nearly a fiver less than your normal champagnes, should you be having a large bash it will help keep the cost down.
For the palate a dry fruity wine, you can actually taste the Chardonnay and a faint citrus flavour.
An affordable treat, not to be missed.
