Following on from the review of our coffee machine, I thought it best to go into laborious detail about what we put in it. Actually, it won't be that laborious. It's coffee - what can you say. Besides, my taste buds have been annihilated by fags so I'm not even that discerning. Lavazza Qualita Rosa is my first choice coffee. Well, Illy is actually I suppose but it costs twice as much even if it does come in a nice tin. I have been using it for over 4 years, though I occasionally use other brands just to confirm my suspicion that Lavazza is the best. Lavazza is an Italian job and is drunk widely in the coffee shops throughout the country. It has a ... Read the complete review

Having indulged myself last Christmas and splurged out on a smart Gaggia espresso machine, I have now worked my way through most of the better coffees on the market and I can honestly say, although not the most expensive, I actually like this genuine Italian coffee, Lavazza Qualita Rossa, the best. In a helpfully distinctive red and silver foil packet, it is easy to spot on the supermarket shelf (always a plus point for me!). Although not specifically designed for espresso machines (there is also a Lavazzo Espresso blend in a black box), this coffee is clearly labelled as being suitable for all types of coffee maker and it certainly works well in my Italian ... I love coffee. I can manage instant some of the time, but you just can't beat freshly brewed coffee in the morning. Increasingly, my local Tesco is expanding its range. I spot new ones every week.... Extra caffeine, no caffeine, caramel flavoured, organic, fair trade and so on. Yeah, thats great, more choice, but isn't it really a case of Tesco jumping on the Starbucks and Costa bandwagon? You see, going into a trendy coffee shop gets me a bit embarrassed. I don't 'do' latte, or any of the other 'language-imports' that everyone yet me seems to be so fluent in. I just want good quality fresh, black coffee. I always feel like I've let everyone ... Read the complete review

My excuse for beginning each day with a pot of Lavazza coffee is that I inherited low blood pressure from my mother. If I didn't employ the stimulant properties of this tasty brew every morning I'd probably find it impossible to remain upright. (Although I've been a caffeine addict for so long now my body may well have adjusted to compensate.) After trying every brand of coffee known to man I have settled on this particular variety of Lavazza as my favourite. I like the simple foil packaging as you know instantly whether the seal has been broken (if air has entered the pack feels soft when you pick it up). The packet slots easily into the fridge door and with ... Read the complete review

When I wake up the first thing on my mind is COFFEE. I do nothing until that first cup is poured. Without it I cannot start my day. If it's not a proper cup than boy it's gonna be a bad day. I like really strong, quality coffee. After trying many different brands, I have finally (YEAH!!) found my favorite. Lavazza Qualita Rosa, ground coffee. BACKGROUND Lavazza coffee comes from Italy. Luigi Lavazza first invented the concept of the blend in the early 1900's. The concept was the complex art of mixing coffee of different origins to obtain a harmonious and tasty product in the cup. Does sound a bit difficult! PACKAGE Lavazza ... Read the complete review
