I started liking Merlot when I was with my boyfriend, I went over to Ireland to see my parents on my own and went to a lovely hotel in Tramor, Southern Ireland it has a very nice beach as well I may say. I decided to have a Merlot in the hotel as I was missing my boyfriend and we always drink this, they asked if I would like a new world or a french wine and I opted for the french wine as sometimes the new world is very full, chocolatey & sometimes too oakey for me.
