Advantages: Great tasting and refreshing.

Disadvantages: Very sweet and could become a bit sickly.

For me when it comes to soft drinks I almost 100% of the times choose Coke or Pepsi, even when I go for something different it is usually Irn Bru and that's about as far as it goes.

When I was younger I had a much wider choice of soft drinks and an old favourite of mine which I had for the first time in ages yesterday was Lilt.
Lilt was always marketed as the drink with the totally tropical taste and I really had forgotten just how good it actually is.

It is flavoured with tropical flavours such as pineapple and grapefruit and it really is a very refreshing drink.

It is a very sweet tasting drink but it is no higher in sugar than most other fizzy soft drinks so no need to worry too much although like any fizzy drink, too much of it is simply not good for you.

It has gone up a lot in price since I used to buy it, the last tin I had before my recent purchase of it would have probably cost me around about 25p but yesterday I paid 98p for a 500ml bottle, it is however no more expensive than any fizzy drink these days.

I don't think it is a drink i could drink as regularly as I drink Pepsi or Coke because it would become a bit sickly but for a one off refreshing drink every once in a while it is tops!

Summary: A great refreshing change.
