According to Wikipedia, Lilt has been around since 1975 (I certainly remember it from the 80's) & is exclusive to the UK & Ireland. It's manufactured by Coca Cola & is a popular soft drink. There have been a total of 3 varieties. Pineapple & Grapefruit (the orginal Lilt & the one you still buy today. Mango & Mandarin which ...  Read the complete review

For those of us sun deprived inhabitants of this small, lonely island we call Britain, we dont need any excuse to bring a little sunshine into our lives. Lilt (with the totally tropical taste) was first introduced to Britain in 1975. Its produced by Coca Cola (what isnt nowadays) and comes in two pleasing flavours orange & Mandarin ...  Read the complete review

I try to stay of soft drinks or more appropriately called fizzy drinks, however Lilt is definitely one of my favourites. I love the more popular fizzy drinks like Coke and Pepsi, however what sets Lilt apart is that it has a very different flavour which sets it apart. The bottle is very tropical and reflects the taste. This tastes of a ...  Read the complete review

The end of an era is fast approaching, the Morrison's "2 for £1.60 offer" that I've basically been living off for the past week is almost fully reviewed, this is the penultimate review of the series which started with such fun, and now seems destined for a historical monument as an eternity online. After this review of Lilt the only one ...  Read the complete review

I don't drink Lilt so much now because it's not always the easiest to find. That, and a rather debilitating addiction to Dr. Pepper, which I swear is laced with cocaine, has kept me at an arm's length from most all soft drinks since it first touched my lips many years ago. Nevertheless, Lilt is a tangy, delightful fizzy drink that really evokes a ...  Read the complete review

Lilt is my favourite soft drink - it's perhaps a little regrettable that it comes from the Coca Cola company whose business practices have often been called into question. However this is not a poitical review, so I'll get on with my comments on the drink itself! Most people will know from the memorable and lively TV ads that Lilt is a ...  Read the complete review

For me when it comes to soft drinks I almost 100% of the times choose Coke or Pepsi, even when I go for something different it is usually Irn Bru and that's about as far as it goes. When I was younger I had a much wider choice of soft drinks and an old favourite of mine which I had for the first time in ages yesterday was ...  Read the complete review

Lilt is a refreshing fizzy fruit drink which is widely available in the UK and is a drink that most people find that they don't drink regularly but rather have a craving for from time to time. The drink is produced by the Coca Cola company and was first introduced in 1975 with the unique selling point that it was fully of totally tropical taste ...  Read the complete review

Lilt is a funny drink that I drink pretty rarely but always enjoy. I tend to buy a bottle of lilt when there isn't much else I fancy, normally because I am bored with coke and fanta lemon. Although I always seem to like it, that I only buy it in these circumstances suggests that it isn't all that great. I find that one of the problems ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lilt: Ideal summer drink (166 words)

Lilt is such a unique drink, but I don't know why. A combination of exotic fruit flavours should be a common practise, but I have never seen another drink quite like Lilt. Whilst other fizzy fruit drinks such as Fanta or Tango provide the ordinary taste of orange or whatever, Lilt is so different; there is no taste of one fruit, but of a ...  Read the complete review

Lilt has been one of my favourite drinks for quite a few years now. It has a fresh and tropical taste that is quite different to some of the other fizzy drinks out there many I find just taste of fake colouring this actually tastes of the fruit it is suppossed to be made of. It is pineapple and grapefruit flavour and you can taste both ...  Read the complete review

This is my drink of choice when visiting the student union at lunchtime. Its cheap, refreshing and tastes great. Its perfect on a summers day with a picnic. It mainly tastes of grapefruit, with a sugary taste. Theres a bit of pineapple but you cant really taste it that much. It tastes like being in the caribbean as the flavour is really ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lilt: A bit of the tropics every now and then (322 words)
by - written on 23/02/09 (Very useful, 87 readings)
Rating:

Lilt is a carbonated drink with tropical flavours of pineapple and grapefruit, and is one of my favourite fizzy drinks. I used to love it when I was a kid, which pleased my parents as I didn't really head for the coca cola and other caffeine-filled soft drinks. Of late, I haven't really had it much, and I find that drinking a lot of it, or ...  Read the complete review

**Introduction** I like to drink refreshing fruity drinks in the summer and one such drink I like is Lilt which is from the same people who make Coca Cola. Premium Review Totally Tropical? (1148 words)

Rating:

Lilt is billed as a fizzy fruit crush with the taste of the tropics. It's one of my favourite summer drinks. Coca Cola is just too fattening and Diet Coke tastes like chemical waste. Oasis are OK but there's no fizz in them, so they're just a bit....boring. That leaves Dr Pepper (wierd) or Fanta (too sweet)....so it has to be Lilt. It's a really ...  Read the complete review
