 Lilt Zero Drink

Lilt Zero

Description: Manufacturer: Coca-Cola / Soft Drinks

Newest Review: ... it's not too gassy. Whereas a lot of similarly grouped drinks are quite fizzy, Lilt and Lilt Zero has slight carbonation, but ... more

... I find I can gulp it. This is what makes it even more refreshing, with the possibility of gulping a couple of mouthful right from the start making it appeal just that little bit more. Lilt Zero may not be as nice in terms of the sweetness of the aftertaste, but it's still a lovely drink, and I would happily drink it if it was there and Lilt Original was not. The latter would get my vote out of the two, but I'd still happily drink either. With Zero, you don't get the sugar content (the idea of the drink, I guess), but...more

Premium Review Lilt Zero: A nearly totally tropical taste (390 words)

I have always been a big fan of lilt. Closing my eyes and taking a gulping sip of it always reminds me of my childhood, and thus I make sure I have it every now and then. I also like trying out various sugar free versions of popular fizzy drinks. Drinks such as Coke Zero are quite nice, while others tend to fail miserably. While I still like Lilt Zero, and feel it nearly tastes exactly the same as the 'full fat' version, it doesn't quite have the same memory inducing taste that Lilt original does. The pineapple and grapefruit combination works very well, and the taste in this respect is much like the original. What I have always liked about it is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Tropical Taste...Zero Compromise (617 words)

I used to love Lilt when I was younger, but I'm not a big fizzy drink fan anymore. Lilt, however, was always one that seemed to stand out from other brands with a distinct taste so I was glad to see the Zero variety come out. Lilt comes under the Coca-Cola umbrella (what doesn't?) and is a very popular soft drink so it's available in most supermarkets/vending machines/convenience stores. It was first produced in 1975, though I only recently found out we're special and priviledged because it's only available in Great Britain and Ireland. That's another reason on my otherwise short list for why I like GB. I think the fact it's so popular and well-known is ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lilt Zero: Perfect for summer - if we get any! (411 words)

I read a review about Lilt a day or two ago and it made me crave a drink of this refreshing fruity pop, not the full sugar Lilt but the healthier Lilt Zero which is the new name for Diet Lilt. Lilt Zero is possibly the most refreshing carbonated drink on the market, with the possible exception of some of the equally exotic flavours in the Rubicon range but these are so full of sugar that I do not allow myself to drink these too often. Lilt Zero is Pineapple and Grapefruit flavoured and I can strongly taste both of these fruits in my drink. I think the strongest flavour is that of the pineapple, but the refreshing properties of the drink definitely ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A great tasting low-sugar drink (232 words)
by - written on 29/05/09 (Very useful, 44 readings)
Rating:

Lilt Zero is one of the better of the fruit-based "no added sugar" (NAS) drinks. Like many similar drinks, it isn't actually zero sugar. It has 5% fruit juice in it (pineapple and grapefruit) and fruit juice contains natural sugar. So "zero" Lilt has 1.5g of sugar in a 500ml bottle. The thing that makes Lilt Zero one of the better drinks is that they've managed to replicate the taste of the sugary version reasonably well. And that means that you can't really taste the sweeteners they add instead of sugar. There is a very slight chemical taste in the back of the mouth after one has drunk it, but certainly much less than, say, ...  Read the complete review

Feeling like a change from the usual Diet Coke, Diet Irn Bru I sometimes pick up a can of Lilt Zero at work. Being a lilt fan and since this is low in calories it makes a nice change. Lilt Zero is a Pinapple and Grapefruit drink with Zero added sugar. It is a sparkling soft drink. Nutritional information per 330ml can 11 Calories 1.0g Sugar 0g Fat 0g Saturates 0.1g Salt You can buy this in 330ml can - roughly 60p 500ml bottle - roughly 90p 6x 330ml cans - roughly £2.60 2 Litre bottle - roughly £1.60 The design of the tin is ok. It is light blues, yellows and greens. It ...  Read the complete review
