Limoncello is my favourite Alcoholic drink, it is extremely drinkable and isn't at all difficult to swallow and tastes absoloutely delightful, very sweet and not too lemony either. It is often home made and there many websites on sites such as youtube which give a simple recipe for making homemade Limoncello, but it can also be purchased, though it often takes a little bit of looking for.
It is available in Tesco, priced at around £9 for a fairly large bottle, so no UK resident should have many issues sourcing Limoncello. It is also very common in Italian restaurants.
I had expected it to be quite thick, almost like a thin lemon syrup, but actually it is very thin and has a lovely fiery after taste. It is best served cold straight from the freezer in an appropriately sized glass. It does not taste strongly of Vodka and whilst it is quite alcoholic, you can still enjoy a nice little amount before you have to start worrying about its effects.

Summary: Not many people have tried it, but everyone should!
