INTRODUCTION ----------------------- I first heard of ice tea in America. It was sold in huge litre sized paper cups and was very popular. I tried some and was very impressed. I was only 7 at the time and wasn't keen on real tea but thought this was great. I never tasted Ice Tea again until 2002 at a conference. The conference had provided Lipton Ice Tea goodies such as cool bags, T-Shirts and bottles of Lipton Ice. Remembering my experience in America I opened the bottle and started to swig away. I stopped in disgust the taste was sweet and my throat felt dry. No amount of ice tea could quench my thirst, I was very disappointed. Near the end of the ... Read the complete review

I haven't a bottle or can of Lipton Iced Tea in front of me to give you any details but I am very familiar with this product . Up to last week it had been part of my daily beverages for a fortnight . Whilst holidaying in tthe Algarve I found that the hot ,hot ,hot weather made me incredibly thirsty . Of course there's always a nice cold beer but long term alcohol is supposed to dehydrate you in hot weather :The ice cold , bottled mineral water was refreshing but bland and nothing to write home about : Fizzy lemonades were only piling on the holiday pounds at record rate and coffee leaves me feeling thirsty . Enter Lipton Ice Tea .It can be purchased in small ... Read the complete review

Lipton`s iced tea and many other iced teas for that matter have been around for a long time but they were never a product I thought I would particularly enjoy so I had never tried any of them until this weekend (29/03/08). The iced tea was offered to me at a friends home where I had stayed following a party the previous evening, being that almost everyone else was having one I tried it. The Lipton iced tea served up to me was of the lemon variety (I believe it comes in three other flavours). Now the thought of cold tea actually seemed quite repugnant to me so I had no idea why I was sitting here with a glass of it in my hand but I raised it to my mouth and ... Read the complete review

Lipton Ice Tea is a drink that I have one particular strong past memory of. I remember many years ago being abroad in France and enjoying a nice glass of Peach Ice Tea whilst out in a café with the parents. When the drink came out to me I had no real idea of what was contained within the glass, but I do remember enjoying the delicious Peach flavouring which graced my taste buds. When I discovered the drink to be Peach Ice Tea I found this fact rather odd as tea had never been a drink I'd taken to at this age (it was not until some years later that my addiction to standard tea became apparent), yet the Lipton Peach Ice Tea had quickly become my new favourite cold ... Not everyones cup of Tea! ********************** ***Liptons Iced Tea*** Love it or Hate it, it's just one of those Drinks that you just have to try. The very concept of 'Iced' and 'Tea', just doesn't seem to go 'Hand inHand' for us as a Nation of serious Tea drinkers. The very notion of icing up our daily hot beverage fills us with Horror, and that is the first obstacle we have to overcome before curiosity makes us purchase this drink to sample! ***I first came across 'Iced Tea' in America when I lived there as a child, and I sat down to my first meal time in my new house, far away from the safety and familiarity of all I had ...
