... bite". I expected a sour flavour, reminiscent of pic-n-mix sour cherries but without so much sweetness, just like Cherry Sourz. When I drank a shot what I got was a bitter, fruity, winey taste, almost medicinal as cheap alcohol can be, quite sticky, though not as sticky as the Kola Kube or Skittles shots you often find in bars, with an aftertaste of those sweet cherries. Being a fan of spirits, but not on drinking them straight, I often buy Apple Sourz shots, but found this less highly branded bottle at £4.95 and thought I'd give it a go. *Look* Lixx Vodka shots come in 700ml tall glass bottles in a wine bottle style shape and the colours of the labels fit the flavours: green for Sour Apple pink-purple for Tangy Cherry (pictured) - this was the one I tried red for Kola Kube black for Black Zambia The older bottles (shown above) have Lixx written across in an edgy Wolverine-style slashing font, whereas newer bottles have a more subtle rounded electronic type font and attractive coloured ...
