Premium Review Lucozade Orange: Where has my energy gone? (644 words)
by - written on 04/10/09 (Very useful, 63 readings)
Rating:

When I was younger I remember Lucozade for one thing, and one thing only. You'd get a large bottle if you were ill. No Lucozade orange back then. Just normal Lucozade. Obviously over the years times have moved on and you find Lucozade in many different sizes, flavours and products. They tend to specialise in the sports environment today. They even have a shop called, wait for it, www.lucozadeshop.co.uk and of course www.lucozade.com The particular one I am reviewing today is Lucozade Energy - Orange Flavour. This comes in a small and large bottle as well as a can. You can even buy multi packs. The smaller bottle is 380ml, medium size 500ml and the larger ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lucozade Addiciton (585 words)
by - written on 06/09/09 (Very useful, 71 readings)
Rating:

I must admit to being addicted to Lucozade Orange and have liked it since I was a child. When I was little, my mum would give me & my little brother some Lucozade, usually the original one when we were ill, but wouldn't let us have it otherwise. I remember one time sneaking into the kitchen & into the top cupboard to get a sip of it when I must of been about 10 maybe. Then when I got a few years older I bought some from the shop and thought I would try the orange flavour, I have never looked back ever since and from then on I was addicted to it. I never really drink the original one anymore as the taste has changed I think but I am forever ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lucozade Orange: Isotonic? What? (289 words)
by - written on 31/08/09 (Very useful, 31 readings)
Rating:

A lot of the advertising and focus on Lucozade comes from the fact that it is marketed as an "isotonic sports drink" - that is, that it's scientifically engineered to help athletes go for longer during the strain. Despite not being an athlete, it's still a great "pick me up" if, like me, you're not a fan of coffee or particularly keen on the Taurine packed stimulant drinks like Relentless and Red Bull. Lucozade comes in 380ml bottles - a strange size admittedly - but it seems to be enough regardless, and is as a result a little cheaper than the 500ml bottles of drinks like Coke etc. On the negative side, though, a lot of this ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review A bottle of energy. (627 words)
by - written on 14/08/09 (Very useful, 61 readings)
Rating:

I've never realle been one for energy drinks like red bull or this, but I saw it in ASDA today on special offer and after my daughter nagged me a bit, I thought I would give it a try. In ASDA at the moment, you get six 380ml bottles for just £2.00 which I thought was brilliant value for the money. That multipack normally costs £3.50 so I was glad to try these at such a discount. You can get lucozade in the original flavour, apple flavour, lime and the orange. My daughter has tried the original in the past but said that the orange has a much better taste which is why I bought that one from ASDA. This drink is in an orange bottle that has 'Lucozade' ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lucozade Orange: Boost that body (658 words)
by - written on 29/05/09 (Very useful, 32 readings)
Rating:

I have mentioned in a previous review I am quite fussy .. one thing I find myself being fussy with is drinks! No way will you catch me sipping on a glass of squash, unless I feel myself I am totally desperate for a drink. I am forever being scolded by my husband for not drinking enough fluids. Pass me a fizzy drink though and I will guzzle it down.. No Problemo! Lucozade being a fizzy drink I tend to drink often. Working five jobs a day, starting my day bright and early at 4am for my first job and eventually finishing my last at 9pm I find myself needing a boost now and then. I am a cleaner so quite a bit of physical work needs to be done ...  Read the complete review

Tastes great. Packed with vitamins. Looks a bit cloudy.

Tasty and rich, Fruity and smooth, Heavenly! Can overpower foods if drunk with a mealThe price was a little more than average...but still good value!

Bland enough for most lager drinkers Doesn't really know what it is trying to be

Tastes fab hot, cold, fizzy or frozen! And it has added vitamin C. High in sugar and can be expensive.

Nice brew from an old fashioned brewery. Not popular with young 'uns.
